Terms and Conditions - Flat Clearance Hatch End
Welcome to our Flat Clearance service in Hatch End. By engaging with our services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Definitions
- Service Provider: Refers to our company providing flat clearance services.
- Client: The individual or entity requesting our services.
- Property: The flat located in Hatch End to be cleared.
2. Service Description
Our flat clearance service includes the removal of all unwanted items from your property, ensuring a thorough and efficient process.
2.1 Scope of Work
- Removal of furniture and appliances
- Disposal of waste and recyclable materials
- Cleaning of cleared spaces
2.2 Exclusions
The following items are not included in our standard service:
- Hazardous materials
- Perishable goods
- Valuable items requiring special handling
3. Client Obligations
The Client agrees to:
- Provide access to the property at agreed times
- Ensure all items to be cleared are ready for removal
- Inform the Service Provider of any special requirements or restrictions
4. Payment Terms
Payment for services must be made as follows:
- 50% deposit upon booking
- Remaining 50% upon completion of service
We accept payments via bank transfer, credit card, or PayPal.
5. Cancellation Policy
If the Client needs to cancel the service, the following terms apply:
- More than 48 hours notice: Full refund of deposit
- Less than 48 hours notice: 50% refund of deposit
- No refund for cancellations on the day of service
6. Liability
The Service Provider is not liable for:
- Damage to property unless caused by negligence
- Loss of items not listed in the service agreement
Clients are advised to secure or remove any items of sentimental or significant value.
7. Insurance
We carry public liability insurance to cover any accidental damage during the clearance process. However, we do not cover the value of items being cleared.
8. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to:
- Attempt to resolve the issue through direct communication
- If unresolved, seek mediation before pursuing legal action
9. Changes to Terms and Conditions
The Service Provider reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of any significant changes.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.
11. Acceptance of Terms
By engaging our services, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
11.1 Electronic Agreement
Clients may agree to these terms electronically, and such agreement shall have the same force and effect as a written signature.
11.2 Severability
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, so that these Terms and Conditions will otherwise remain in full force and effect.

The Service Provider shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations where such failure is as a result of Acts of Nature (including fire, flood, earthquake, storm, or other natural disaster), war, invasion, act of foreign enemies, hostilities, civil war, rebellion, revolution, insurrection, military or usurped power, or confiscation, nationalization, government sanction, blockage, embargo, labor dispute, strike, lockout or interruption or failure of electricity or telephone service.
14. Intellectual Property
All content provided by the Service Provider, including but not limited to images, text, and logos, are the property of the Service Provider and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
15. Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the Client and the Service Provider regarding the service and supersede any prior agreements or understandings.
16. Amendments
No amendment or modification of these Terms and Conditions shall be valid unless in writing and signed by both parties.
17. Severability
If any provision hereof is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue to be valid and enforceable.
18. Waiver
The failure of either party to enforce any right or provision of these Terms and Conditions shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
